    Chaunta Mero
Born and raised in Shreveport, I have spent my life serving the community I love. My faith in God is the foundation of my life and guides my commitment to lead with integrity, compassion, and purpose.
​
My professional experience includes working in City Government, the legal field, and hospital administration, giving me a broad understanding of public service and leadership. I have more than 20 years of experience as a Real Estate Broker, over 28 years as a Louisiana Civil Law Notary Public, and proudly own Louisiana Auto Tag & Title.

As founder of the Mero Foundation, I have dedicated my life to serving families, seniors, youth, and women through community outreach and advocacy. These experiences have reinforced my belief that leadership is about listening, serving, and bringing people together.

I am running for Mayor because I believe Shreveport's deserves leadership they can trust that is transparent, accountable, and focused on results.Â
